Backsaver SD 1000 Small bin dumper

Emptying large bins. For this purpose, the Backsaver tipper/tilting machine type SD (Small Combo Dumper) is extremely suitable. This machine features a double hydraulic cylinder and 2 batteries. With this extra power, bins weighing up to 1000 kg can be tilted. The standard version results in a discharge height of approximately 1000 mm at a 120-degree tilt angle. Optionally, this tipper/tilting device can even tilt to 1165mm! This model is ideal for emptying plastic bins, octabins, pallet crates, and other large containers. The machine can be used as a stationary station but is easily movable if needed.

Small Combo dumper ideal for transferring products and emptying bins

A Backsaver is a simple solution to spare your employees’ backs and improve your production. The machines are equipped with independent controls on both sides so that working at a table or line is never a problem. Type SD is the ideal machine for transferring products from, for example, cardboard octabins to plastic bins. This machine can also be used for emptying bins into buffer bins, such as a screw conveyor.

The SD wide tilting machine is used as a fixed installation. Your bins of meat, fish, fruit, vegetables, or other foodstuffs are placed in the tilting device by means of another transport means at the workplace where you want to empty these bins. The bin is tilted continuously to the maximum angle of 120 degrees. A major advantage of using a Backsaver is that bending is no longer necessary, reducing the risk of injuries to your employees. This ensures happy employees who stay fitter and can process more products as a result.

Double battery as available with mains power

This machine is available with both double batteries and a 400V mains power installation. The powerful batteries make it possible to empty approximately 60 bins weighing 1000kg each in chilled areas before needing to be recharged overnight. The SD wide tilting device is designed for bins with a maximum height of approximately 1 meter.

Like other Backsavers, this machine lowers with its single-acting hydraulic cylinders by gravity. This makes it a very safe device in your production.

Hygienic machines specially for the food industry

Backsavers are specially developed for the food industry. They are safe devices to come into direct contact with your products and employees. The machines are made of stainless steel and are therefore easy to clean with, for example, a high-pressure cleaner. Backsaver model SD has been designed and produced in the Netherlands since 2015.
